About Twitter Profile Labels

Twitter uses visual identity signals like labels and badges on account profiles to help distinguish between various account types and to give more context about them. While some of these labels are generated by Twitter, others are the result of user activity. Here is a list of the labels and badges that are frequently seen on account profiles. Applied Profile labels by Twitter Checkmark in Blue The blue checkmark can indicate one of two things: either that a user's account has been verified according to Twitter's previous verification standards (active, notable, and authentic), or that the user has an active subscription to Twitter Blue, the company's new subscription service that launched on iOS on November 9, 2022. The active, notable, and authentic criteria that were applied in the previous process will not be reviewed for accounts that receive the blue checkmark as part of a Twitter Blue subscription. Introducing Facebook's Home and Feeds 2022

Mark Zuckerberg said today that you would be able to more easily manage the stuff you see and come across on Facebook. We are launching Feeds, a new tab that makes it simple for you to view the most recent postings from your friends, Pages, and groups. In this new tab, you may filter the content of your favourite friends and Pages by compiling a Favorites list of them. The main tab, which is the first thing you see when you launch the programme, will now be called Home. On Facebook, home is where you can connect, have fun, and discover new things.

Feeds: Up-to-date information

When it comes to categorising and viewing your information, we get that you might desire additional options. Sometimes you may already know what you're looking for, such as the most recent postings from your groups, or you may just want to find interesting, new stuff. The Feeds tab offers a convenient method to access the material from the people and communities you're currently associated with on Facebook as Home develops into more of a discovery engine for you to find and follow new content and producers through recommendations. Ads are present in Feeds however there are no posts that are "Suggested For You."

Starting today, some users may see that Feeds has been added as a tab to their shortcut bar, which can be located at the top or bottom of the programme depending on the operating system. Over the course of the coming week, we anticipate rolling out these upgrades worldwide. Depending on which areas of the software you use the most, different tabs appear in the shortcut bar. Additionally, you may make a tab in your shortcut bar permanent by personalising and pinning it.

Home: The Ground Zero of Discovery

The tab that appears when you initially launch the Facebook app will now be called Home. You may connect with your friends and family here while also finding new material through suggestions. You may also make a Reel from home, check what your contacts are sharing on Feed and in Stories, and foster community through discovering and engaging in similar interests. Our machine learning ranking method allows us to uniquely customise your Home tab. To sort through the noise and rank material in the order we believe you will find most valuable, this system considers thousands of signals. To effectively serve recommended content in this ranking experience, we're investing in AI.

While you can continue to follow the people and communities that are most important to you in Feeds, Home is where you'll find community via your interests and passions.

Cinderella Was Not Invented by Disney!

Century-long narratives from numerous cultures are woven together to create the real Cinderella.   You're familiar with Cinderella. You do, of course. She is a character we learn about through osmosis because she is a part of the cultural ether. Princess that she is. She is decked out in a lovely dress, glass shoes, long white gloves, and a shiny headband. To meet and dance with a very handsome prince and get home before the clock strikes midnight and her carriage turns back into a pumpkin, she overcomes the hardship of her evil stepmother and stepsisters, who treat her like their maid.  However, that isn't the true Cinderella. That is the Cinderella from the 1950 animated film and the recent remake that is currently playing in theatres. Not everyone can agree on who the real Cinderella is. She is a figure who connects the majority of human cultures and centuries of storytelling. And occasionally, her lost slipper isn't even made of glass. Greeks were the first Cinderellas....
