About Twitter Profile Labels

Twitter uses visual identity signals like labels and badges on account profiles to help distinguish between various account types and to give more context about them. While some of these labels are generated by Twitter, others are the result of user activity. Here is a list of the labels and badges that are frequently seen on account profiles. Applied Profile labels by Twitter Checkmark in Blue The blue checkmark can indicate one of two things: either that a user's account has been verified according to Twitter's previous verification standards (active, notable, and authentic), or that the user has an active subscription to Twitter Blue, the company's new subscription service that launched on iOS on November 9, 2022. The active, notable, and authentic criteria that were applied in the previous process will not be reviewed for accounts that receive the blue checkmark as part of a Twitter Blue subscription. Electric planes are now flying!

More airlines are purchasing battery-powered aeroplanes to lessen their impact on the environment. Electric Planes Even if flying is handy, it's not great for the environment; according to some estimates, just commercial flights alone are to blame for 3 to 4% of all greenhouse gas emissions in the US. However, one approach to lessen the sector's climate impact is by electrifying air travel. Battery-powered aircraft are also beginning to acquire more traction, despite the fact that experts believe substantial commercial use is still in the future. By acquiring 30 battery-powered passenger planes from Heart Aerospace, a Swedish company, this week, Air Canada became the most recent airline to make the commitment to test the cutting-edge, zero-emission technology. In the summer of 2016, 100 of the company's aircraft were ordered by United Airlines and regional carrier Mesa Airlines, respectively. These still-in-development electric aircraft are currently modest, holding no more

Describe a recession. Wikipédia is undecided

The Biden administration's insistence that the U.S. economy has not entered an economic slump prompted a frenzy of alterations to Wikipedia's definition for "recession," but the entry has now been put on hold. This week, unauthorised additions were made to Wikipedia by new users. The updates sparked an editing war that compelled registered volunteer editors to constantly undo changes in order to adhere to the site's principles, which in this case called for correct reference and no political prejudice. Wikipedia's "edit warring" policy encourages disputing editors to settle their differences through discussion on a discussion page. The glut of new editors disregarded that best practise and continued to push questionable edits, forcing more seasoned editors to disable the freedom to edit. According to Wikipedia, the page is temporarily "semi-protected" until August 3 and no new or unregistered users are permitted to update it. Top officials

On October 1, 2022, Facebook Live Shopping will be ended.

You won't be able to arrange or host any new live shopping events on Facebook after October 1, 2022. To facilitate further exploration and deliberation, you can also tag products in Reels on Instagram. Facebook Live Shopping  You can set up live shopping on Instagram if you have a store with a checkout and wish to hold live shopping events there. You can download your video from your Page or Creator Studio if you want to keep a previously live video.   Source: Meta Business Help Centre

New Modern Google Search Dashboard Layout!

For the Google Business Profile function in Google Web Search, Google Search is currently testing a new enlarged menu. This enables you to extend the options to change your business profile straight on the desktop Google Search interface by clicking an arrow down. These screenshots were shared by Professor M in the Local Search Forums when he discovered this. This is the compressed version; note the downward-pointing arrow in the right-hand circle: This is how it appears expanded: Although I do not personally notice this, I do kind of appreciate expanding the options here because many of them are difficult to find in the default design. Introducing Facebook's Home and Feeds 2022

Mark Zuckerberg said today that you would be able to more easily manage the stuff you see and come across on Facebook. We are launching Feeds, a new tab that makes it simple for you to view the most recent postings from your friends, Pages, and groups. In this new tab, you may filter the content of your favourite friends and Pages by compiling a Favorites list of them. The main tab, which is the first thing you see when you launch the programme, will now be called Home. On Facebook, home is where you can connect, have fun, and discover new things. Feeds: Up-to-date information When it comes to categorising and viewing your information, we get that you might desire additional options. Sometimes you may already know what you're looking for, such as the most recent postings from your groups, or you may just want to find interesting, new stuff. The Feeds tab offers a convenient method to access the material from the people and communities you're currently associated with on Faceb

The production and consumption of videos on the internet is constantly expanding, and Google Search indexes videos from millions of different websites so that users can quickly find and view this content. Search Console is introducing a new report called Video indexing to assist you in comprehending the performance of your videos on Google and pinpointing potential areas for improvement. You might not notice any changes right away because we'll be implementing this adjustment gradually over the coming months.
